youvocate

Install on macOS

Open Youvocate on your Mac.

Because Youvocate is not notarized by Apple yet, macOS Gatekeeper shows an "unidentified developer" notice the first time. This is the normal path to open it.

  1. Download the right build

Apple Silicon (M1 and later) or Intel. Not sure? The download page detects it for you.

  2. Open from Applications

Drag Youvocate to Applications, then right-click (or Control-click) the app icon and choose Open.

  3. Confirm the caution

macOS says the developer cannot be verified. Choose Open in the dialog. You only do this the first time.

  4. Verify first if you like

For extra assurance, check the download against its published checksum before opening. See Verify your download.

Do not be alarmed by the "unidentified developer" message. It appears because the app is not yet signed by Apple, not because anything is wrong with the file. Verifying the checksum is how you confirm you have the exact file we published.

Want to be sure the file is untampered first? Verify your download against its published checksum.
